About Dr. Goldstein
Dr. Goldstein graduated with honors from the State University of New York at Binghamton and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. After dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency followed by an Oral Surgery and Implant Fellowship at King’s County Hospital Center. These are additional years of full time training that very few oral surgeons have completed.
Dr. Goldstein then went on to complete 4 more years of specialty training as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, finishing his training as Chief Resident at King’s County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York in 2020. All programs completed by Dr. Goldstein are accredited by the American Dental Association and American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In addition, Dr. Goldstein is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
The primary focuses of his practice are dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, and tooth extractions. He routinely performs allogenic and autogenous bone grafts, sinus augmentation, and apicoectomies. Dr. Goldstein also has experience managing complex facial trauma and pathology cases. He underwent the AAOMS Office Anesthesia Evaluation process in multiple states, and is licensed to treat patients under the comfort of IV sedation.
Dr. Goldstein has provided continuing education lectures to other dentists on topics ranging from wisdom tooth removal and dental implant placement to complications arising from medical issues. He also recently signed up as a volunteer attending, helping to train future oral surgeons and donating his services in high need areas.
In his personal life, Dr. Goldstein is originally from Long Island, NY and currently resides in Bergen County, NJ. He is happily married to his wife Helen, and together they have a son, Levi and a golden-doodle. Recreationally he enjoys reading, fitness, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
