About Dr. Levine
Craig L. Levine, DDS was born in Queens, NY and raised on Long Island in Nesconset. He graduated from Smithtown High School East and received his Bachelor of Arts from Stony Brook University in 1987. Dr. Levine received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from VCU School of Dentistry in 1991. He completed a one year general practice residency at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Levine was then accepted and completed his 4 year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Kings County Hospital Center, where he was Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Levine joined the practice in 1996 after completing his residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Levine has devoted his professional career to all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with special interest in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, trauma and pathology.
Dr. Craig Levine is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Levine currently serves as the Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery/Dentistry at Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip. Dr. Levine is also a member of the New York State Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association and the Suffolk County Dental Society.
Dr. Levine is married and has three children. He has been involved with youth sports for many years coaching both his son’s and daughters’ teams. He enjoys watching them compete in their various sports. He also enjoys spending time outdoors-cycling, running, skiing and boating.
