About Dr. Greenhalgh

Dr. Kelsey Greenhalgh is a Long Island native, having grown up in Port Jefferson NY before leaving to study chemical engineering as an undergraduate at Virginia Tech. Dr. Greenhalgh returned to Long Island to attend dental school at the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, graduating Summa Cum Laude as the valedictorian of his class. Following dental school, Dr. Greenhalgh completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Connecticut Health Center/Hartford Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident at UConn Health Medical Center, Hartford Hospital, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, and St. Francis Hospital.

Dr. Greenhalgh has trained extensively in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, especially dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, dental anesthesiology maxillofacial & craniofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint disorders, and pathology. Dr. Greenhalgh has conducted research in stem cell therapy as potential treatment for salivary gland dysfunction.

Dr. Greenhalgh is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Greenhalgh participates in community outreach programs locally and abroad, providing oral healthcare/surgery in Connecticut/Virginia Mission of Mercy as well as Madagascar.

Dr. Greenhalgh is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) for the American Heart Association.
